Stats

Six stats, how points work, caps and resets.

Your six stats

StatWhat it does
AttackWeapon damage, accuracy and pierce.
DefenseReduces the damage you take.
FuelFuel (Fuel × 10) and weight capacity (Fuel × 60 + 300).
SpiritSkill points (SP = Spirit × 8) and their regeneration.
ShieldShield capacity.
EvasionChance to dodge incoming fire.

Stat points

  • You start at level 11 with 10 free points and get 1 more per level.
  • Missions give extra “bonus stat” points: 3 in the training, about 32 in your nation’s main story, a few more in the side and episode stories.
  • Spend them in the GEAR info window (V) while your gear is stopped. You place every point yourself.

One point is not always +1

Each gear grows differently: one point raises a stat by this much.

Caps

A stat can be at most 300 up to level 100 and 340 from level 101. Anything above the cap - item bonuses included - does nothing.

Stats and equipment

Weapons, armor, radars and computers only need a level and the right gear. Engines also need stats (a level-40 engine may need 39 Attack, Defense and Evasion) - check the tooltip before you spend points. See Equipment.

Reset cards

  • All Stat Reset Card: every spent point back.
  • Partial Stat Reset Card: the points of one stat you choose.
  1. 1Go to your nation’s capital and get out of your gear (walk).
  2. 2Unequip everything.
  3. 3Use the card and spend the points again.
NOTEA full reset can’t give you more than 255 free points. If you have spent more, the card refuses (and isn’t used up) - use partial cards instead.

Reset cards are sold for coins in the Cash Shop (Membership and coins); the partial card also in the Point Shop, the full card at the Infinity Field Supplier.
