Gambling
Prefixes and suffixes: random extra bonuses on weapons and armor.
How gambling works
A gamble card adds a random option to a weapon or an armor: a prefix card a prefix, a suffix card a suffix - an extra bonus on top of the item’s stats, shown in its name. Gambling is done at the Laboratory, like enchanting.
- A gamble always succeeds - the question is only what you get.
- Only weapons and armor can be gambled; Legend and Unique items can’t.
- Use the card that fits: Standard weapon, Advanced weapon or Armor.
- On a clean item you can use a prefix and a suffix card together.
- You won’t get the same option twice in a row.
Rolling again
You can’t gamble over an existing option. To try again, remove it first with a Prefix Removal Card or Suffix Removal Card (it always works), then gamble again.
Normal, Super and Hyper gamble cards
| Card | What it rolls | Cost per use |
|---|---|---|
| Gamble card | Mostly basic options; only about 2.4% of weapon rolls are top-tier (armor: about half). | 4,000 SPI |
| Super Gamble Card | Top-tier options only. | free |
| Hyper Gamble Card | An even stronger tier (weapons only). | free |
Normal gamble cards drop from many monsters (level 22-110). Super Gamble Cards are rare drops from level 27-110 monsters, come from the Mystery Machine (Lucky machines) and are sold for coins in the Cash Shop.
