Terms of use

These terms apply to the SkyForge ACE website and game server (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them together with the server rules and the privacy policy.

About the service

SkyForge is an unofficial, community-run private server for ACE Online. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the owners of the ACE Online game or its trademarks. All related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

The service is free to use. It is provided as it is, without guarantees of availability, and may be changed, paused or discontinued at any time - for example for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.

Your account

• You need an account to play. One account works both on the website and in the game client.
• Provide a valid email address - it is used to recover your account and for important notices about the service.
• Keep your login details safe and choose a password you don't use anywhere else. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the server rules.

Virtual items and progress

Characters, items, in-game currency, SF Coins and any other progress are part of the game and have no real-world value. They cannot be exchanged for money, and they are not your property. Game data may be adjusted - for example when balancing the game, fixing bugs or correcting the results of cheating - and may be lost through technical problems we cannot always undo.

Acceptable use

Use the service only as intended and in line with the server rules. Do not try to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or copy, resell or redistribute its content or client files.

Liability

We do our best to keep the service running and your data safe, but as a free community project we cannot accept liability for losses arising from using or being unable to use the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
