B-Gear (Bomber)
The bomber: in Ground Bombing Mode its advanced weapon drops bombs on ground targets. Every stat point gives the same +3, so it can be built any way. A good first gear.
M-Gear (Multi)
The supporter: heals energy (Heal Target) and shields (Energize Target), whole formations with the Fields, buffs them with the Raging skills and calls them to itself with Call of Hero. High defense: Defense and Spirit grow +4 per point. Every formation wants one.
A-Gear (Armor)
The ground unit: it flies low like a hovercraft and turns into a turret with Siege Mode (more attack and range). Attack and Shield grow +4 per point, Evasion only +1 - it takes hits instead of dodging. Uses its own weapons: Dualists, Cannons and Mass Drives, bundles and mines.
I-Gear (Interceptor)
The fastest gear, a dogfighter: Attack and Evasion grow +4 per point. Overbooster, Frenzy and Berserker make it a strong duelist.
Gear-specific equipment
Weapons, armor and skills are made for a gear - the item tooltip shows which ones can use an item. See Equipment for the slots and armor types.
